Alex :- 6 & 12 String Guitars, Bouzouki and Banjo.

Alex hails from the North East and has many years’ experience playing in bands including Weavers Triangle, Flash Company and also in the Millstone Ceilidh Band. Alex is a very accomplished and versatile musician playing in several different tunings.  Alex also sings lead and harmony vocals.

Dave :- Fiddles,Mandolin,Tenor Guitar, Tenor Banjo

Flutes and Whistles.

Dave hails from Blackburn and has  played for many years  in bands including The Tacklers, Flash Company, Millstone Ceilidh Band and with the duo Preston and Grimshaw.  Dave enjoys putting the icing on the cake, often playing counter melodies and seconds. Dave often sings lead vocals.

Frank :- Lead Vocals and Bodhran.

Frank has the voice of an angel and is a true balladeer.  Frank sang initially with The Wagoners and then was the lead vocalist for many years with The Dalesmen  It was said by Brian Preston that Frank’s voice was reminiscent of the late Pete Rogers of the Taverners a compliment indeed.

Ian :- Guitar, Mandolin, Bodhran

Ian is a Lancashire lad who started playing in local folk and ceilidh bands in the early seventies, including Gremlin, Priory, Blackthorn Band, Quadrille and many years with The Dalesmen.  Ian specialises in finger-style guitar and cites Ralph McTell as a major influence. Ian also sings lead and harmony vocals.
